Axe vs. Sax are the first two "patter" recordings put out by EGO. They are NOT your typical patters and will NOT be for everyone.
We started with a basic (but BUSY) rhythm track, then just let guitarist Paul Chester (AXE) and Kelly Dean (SAX) have free reign. My only instruction to them was "have a BLAST".
The end result is two 6.5 minute patters that are as close to live improvs as you're going to get. Take some time to listen to the samples and decide if they are for you!
